It’s called NayaJahan – “New World”. And we are building it in Mussomeli, a small hilltop town in Sicily, Italy.

This is not a luxury resort. It’s not a business park. It’s a farm‑style life. Off‑grid. Simple. Free.

We are working to secure an agricultural land in Mussomeli Sicily – about 60 acres, insha’Allah – to build a small community of families who want to live off-grid. We will grow our own organic vegetables: tomatoes, zucchini, peppers. We will raise chickens for eggs and meat, keep sheep for milk and wool, and maybe a couple of cows.

We will install solar panels for electricity and dig a water well. We will build beautiful, basic farmsteads – think barn style, but cosy. A place where you can sit by a fire in winter and sleep with windows open in summer.

And here is the most important part: we will share the work. One day you feed the animals, another day you weed the vegetable patch. Someone else cooks, someone fixes the fence, someone teaches the children under the shade of olive trees. This is not about profit. It is about living the way humans are supposed to live – together, with purpose, close to the earth.

Why in Mussomeli?

Because the town welcomes newcomers. Because the land is still affordable. Because the sun shines almost all year. And because Italy and Pakistan have a joint treaty – meaning we have the same rights as Italians to own land and form a cooperative. No one can stop us except our own hesitation.

We have already started talking to local people in Mussomeli. We are now a team who loves the idea and they believe in NayaJahan. They want to help us make it real.

What about visas? Travel? Accommodation?

We will help you via the M2HI (My 2nd Home in Italy) Program. Step by step. First, you come as a visitor or volunteer. You stay in a simple B&B guesthouse or a shared farmhouse. You work with us for a few hours each day – planting, feeding, building. In return, you get a bed and meals. No big money needed. Later, when you decide to stay permanently, we guide you through the residency process. Many paths lead to Italian citizenship after a few years of legal residence.

Objectives (Short to Medium Term)

• Step 1: Establish a pilot farmstead on a member’s existing land (usufruct arrangement) – start cultivation and a small poultry farm.

• Step 2: Formalise the cooperative, register it with Italian authorities, and invite the Mayor of Mussomeli to visit our working model.

• Step 3: Secure a 60‑hectare municipal land on a buy‑in‑instalments plan, funded by the cooperative’s agricultural income.

• Step 4: Have at least 10 member families living on the land at all times, operating a fully functioning farm, guesthouse, and agritourism activities.

You can still join as a supporting member. A small monthly contribution helps us buy the land. And one day, when you are ready, your spot will be waiting for you.

This is not a company. It is a cooperative. One member, one vote. No one can buy your voice. The land belongs to all of us together.
